Raised Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. Crisco
    2/3 c. sweet milk
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1 cake yeast, dissolved in 1/3 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients, working in shortening with fork. Add all liquids; roll thin.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Dip each in melted butter; place double decker.
    Let rise 2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Extra dough may be placed in a greased bowl.
    Cover tightly.
    Refrigerate until needed.
