Applesauce Nuggets - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butterscotch pieces
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cream together the first 2 ingredients. Add the egg, applesauce, nuts and butterscotch pieces.
Sift and add the flour, allspice, cloves, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix together well.
Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
