Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. margarine
3 c. boiling water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
6 c. flour
Preparation

Combine oats, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt and margarine. Pour over the boiling water and stir.
Dissolve yeast in the warm water.
When batter is cooled to lukewarm, add yeast.
Stir in the white flour; knead 10 minutes.
Let rise well the first time, then punch down and shape into loaves.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
