Sweet-N-Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 egg
    cornstarch
    oil for frying
    1 (8 oz.) can chunk pineapple and juice
    1/2 c. water
    1 jar pitted maraschino cherries with juice
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
    1 onion, cut in eighths
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Coat chicken with egg, then roll in cornstarch.
    Fry until done; drain.
    Heat all fruits and their liquids.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch with water. Stir into flour mixture to thicken.
    Add chicken.
    Serve over hot rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
