Chewy Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1/4 c. applesauce
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs or egg substitute
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a separate bowl combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix the butter, applesauce, 1 1/2 cup sugar and the eggs in thoroughly.
    Blend in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Take about a heaping tablespoonful of dough and roll it in cinnamon and sugar in a separate bowl.
    Batter will be sticky.
    You may need more cinnamon and sugar.
    Place on a silver cookie sheet.
    Bake for 9 minutes. Cookies will spread big, thin and chewy.
