Fancy Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
3 Tbsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1 yeast cake
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Combine ingredients as you would for regular biscuits.
Store dough in tightly closed plastic bag or bowl in refrigerator.
Use as needed.
Do not let rise at any time.
Roll out and bake on a greased pan in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
