Ingredients

1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. margarine or soft butter
1 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. each: salt, soda and cream of tartar
4 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together the sugars, margarine, oil, eggs, vanilla, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
Add flour, one cup at a time, beating after adding each cup.
Roll dough into small balls or drop by teaspoon.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press down each cookie ball with the bottom of a glass, dipping glass in melted margarine and then in sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0, about 10 minutes or until light golden brown on edge.
