Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 eggs, separated
2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Combine in saucepan sugar and cornstarch; mix well to avoid lumps.
Add egg yolks to milk.
Cook slowly until thickened.
Add butter and vanilla.
After butter has completely melted, add coconut; stir.
Pour into precooked pie shell.
Use egg whites for meringue.
