California Sushi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. uncooked rice, washed and cooked
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ajinomoto
    avocado
    watercress
    kamaboko
    radish sprouts
    prepared horseradish
    cucumber
    takuan
    crab sticks
Preparation
    Bring to a boil and cool the vinegar, sugar, salt and ajinomoto.
    Mix into rice.
    Cut 20 sheets of yaki (roasted) nori in half.
    Cut vegetables into 1/4 x 2-inch strips.
    Arrange vegetables on a platter with a small dish of prepared horseradish to sparingly spread over rice as people roll their own sushi.
    To make a sushi, a person would take a nori sheet, place a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori; place some horseradish over rice and place any combination of vegetables in the center.
    Roll nori into a cone shape or into a jellyroll shape before eating.
