Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
3/4 c. boiling water
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 pkg. or qt. strawberries, thawed but not drained
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 carton Cool Whip

Preparation

Crush wafers; melt margarine.
Mix well and pat firmly in 9 x 13-inch dish.
Chill in freezer.
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; stir in milk and undrained strawberries.
Mix in Cool Whip and marshmallows.
Stir until mixed well.
Take dish out, then pour mixture over, spreading evenly.
Chill 4 to 6 hours before serving.
Keep refrigerated.
