7-Week Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-bran
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. all-bran
Preparation
    Mix 1 cup all-bran and boiling water; cool.
    Add the oil to the cooled cereal mixture.
    Mix the flour, soda and salt together.
    In a large bowl, beat eggs.
    Add sugar, then buttermilk and 2 cups all-bran.
    Mix well.
    Stir in first cereal mixture, then the flour mixture.
    Store in covered container in refrigerator until ready to bake muffins.
    (Keeps 7 weeks.)
    Bake muffins at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
