Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 to 1 full bag miniature marshmallows
    about 4 c. diced (bite-size) apples
Preparation
    Mix together water and vinegar.
    Set aside.
    Mix together sugar and flour.
    Slowly mix together; stir until smooth.
    Cook in microwave on High until hot and begins to thicken (must be stirred every 45 seconds to 1 minute).
    Pour a small amount of thickened mixture over beaten egg.
    Stir until well blended, then combine all of the remaining mixture.
    Return to microwave until thick (again stirring about every minute).
