Sauerkraut Dish(Kolosvary Kapusta) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef stew meat
3 Tbsp. butter
2 large onions
1 diced medium onion
2 cans sauerkraut
1 pt. sour cream
1 lb. pork stew meat
paprika
1/4 c. rice
water
flour
Preparation

Stew pork and beef in 1 tablespoon butter and some paprika and 1 large onion, diced.
Stew 1/4 cup rice in 1 tablespoon butter, diced medium sized onion and enough water to cook rice.
Cook 2 cans sauerkraut in 1 tablespoon butter, 1 large sliced onion and enough water to keep kraut thick.
After kraut is cooked, sprinkle with a little flour and mix.
Into deep casserole, beginning with kraut mixture, put a layer of each of the three mixtures:
one layer of kraut, then layer of meat and layer of rice.
Do this until casserole is filled.
Pour one pint of sour cream on top and spread.
Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
Serve hot.
