Apple Turnovers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. lard
cold water
6 apples, peeled and cored
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix together flour, salt, baking powder and lard; add cold water to make a soft dough.
Divide into 6 sections and roll out. Place apples on dough.
Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over apples.
Fold dough over and crimp edges.
Bake for 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
