Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cut up chicken
1 onion, chopped
1 large can tomatoes, cut up
2 c. cut up okra
1 c. uncooked rice
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil cut up chicken in large container until done.
Remove chicken and debone.
Place onion, rice, tomatoes, and okra into broth and cook until done.
Add water as needed to keep container full.
Add salt and pepper.
When vegetables are cooked, add deboned chicken.
Serve with crackers or corn bread.
Delicious on a cold day!
