Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 lb. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 c. onions, chopped fine
    3 red peppers
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves, allspice, celery salt and mustard
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes, peppers and onions without adding water until soft.
    Press mixture through a sieve.
    Combine pulp, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices tied in a muslin bag and cook rapidly over full gas flame until thick, stirring to prevent burning (about 45 minutes).
    Pour into hot sterilized containers and seal.
    Makes about 3 quarts.
