Oven Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large pork chops
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced about 1/4 inch thick
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    In a heavy skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides in the vegetable oil, a minute or 2 per side.
    Place the chops in a large casserole dish.
    Layer on the potatoes, add the chopped onion.
    Add the soup, undiluted.
    Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Raise the oven temperature to 375\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes more.
    Remove the cover for the last 10 minutes for crispier chops.
