Blueberry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. margarine
    2 egg yolks, unbeaten (reserve whites)
    1 c. milk
    1 c. blueberries, drained (fresh, frozen or canned)
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Place flour and sugar in large mixing bowl.
    Cut in margarine until size of small peas.
    Measure 3/4 cup of mixture and reserve for crumb topping.
    Add unbeaten egg yolks and 1 cup milk to remaining crumb mixture in bowl.
    Beat for 3 minutes until well blended (electric mixer at low).
    Beat 2 egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
    Fold gently, but thoroughly, into batter.
