Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    2 (16 1/2 oz.) cans creamed corn
    1 (16 1/2 oz.) can regular whole kernel corn
    1 c. half and half
    1 1/2 to 2 c. chopped, cooked ham
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Add other ingredients and heat until warm.
    Do not boil.
    Serves 8 to 10.
