2-Tone Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine egg whites, sugar, salt, cream of tartar and water in double boiler over boiling water.
    Beat with mixer 7 minutes or until icing peaks.
    Remove from heat.
    Continue beating until it cools.
    Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
