Jalapeno Corn Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. creamed corn
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 to 1 c. butter, melted
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 to 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 jalapenos (fresh or canned), diced (use gloves)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 9-inch square baking pan. Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
    Turn half of the batter into pan. Cover evenly with half of the cheese, then peppers, then remaining cheese.
    Top with remaining batter. Bake 1 hour.
    Let cool 15 minutes. Cut into squares.
