Cranberry Festival Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) ham (I've used teardrop ham)
    1 1/2 c. dry red wine (cooking wine works)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 can whole cranberry sauce
    1/4 tsp. powdered cloves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. brandy
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. powdered ginger
Preparation
    Cook ham with wine and water.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour (or more), turning ham several times.
    Remove ham; trim fat, if necessary.
    Score ham; place in roasting pan.
