Slow Cooker Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 lb. sausage
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. sliced mushrooms
    12 to 13 c. slightly dry bread cubes
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Crumble sausage in pan. Add next 3 ingredients. Cook until done; drain. Pour over bread cubes in large bowl. Add seasoning and toss together. Pour in enough broth to moisten. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Put stuffing into slow cooker and cover. Set to high for 45 minutes. Reduce to low and cook 6 to 8 hours.
