Lemon Crackers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. melted lard
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs
    baking ammonia *
    oil of lemon *
    I use lemon extract (same amount as oil of lemon)
Preparation
    Beat sugar and lard together. Add beaten eggs.
    Pulverize ammonia; dissolve in milk.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add oil of lemon and lemon extract.
    Add flour until dough is stiff enough to roll out.
    Cut cookies and bake on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Some ovens vary in temperature.
