Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    2 large boxes vanilla instant pudding
    milk (to mix pudding)
    2 cans cherry or strawberry pie filling
    2 large cans crushed pineapple, drained
    1 large container Cool Whip
    14 oz. coconut
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Bake cake according to instructions on box.
    Mix pudding; set aside.
    Crumble 1/2 of the cake in a punch bowl.
    Layer 1 can pie filling, 1 can pineapple, 1/2 of the pudding and 1/2 of the Cool Whip.
    Repeat the layers.
    Top with coconut and cherries.
