Upside Down Pineapple And Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

1 (13 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1/4 c. oleo
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. flour (sifted)
1/3 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. grated carrots
2 eggs
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

Drain pineapple reserving syrup; set aside.
Melt oleo in 9 x 1 1/2-inch round baking pan.
Stir in tidbits, nuts, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon pineapple juice; spread evenly in pan.
