Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1 c. prunes, cooked, seeded and chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. each of: baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and vanilla
Preparation

Blend sugar, oil and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk to the egg mixture.
Add vanilla, nuts and prunes.
Mix well and pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish which has been lightly greased with butter.
Bake at 300\u00b0 in preheated oven for one hour.
