Easy Peach Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 2 1/2 lb. peaches
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Wash, peel, pit and crush peaches; measure 4 cups.
    Place in large kettle with water.
    Boil 10 minutes.
    Add sugar and over medium heat, boil until thick, about 20 minutes.
    Pour while hot into sterilized jars; seal.
