Chocolate Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    5 eggs, separated
    3 c. White Lily flour
    dash of salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Cream butter,
    Crisco and sugar until fluffy.
    Beat egg yolks, and
    add
    to
    creamed
    mixture.
    Sift
    dry\tingredients together. Add
    to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Mix in vanilla and
    nuts.\tBeat egg whites until stiff; fold into cake batter. Pour
    into a greased and floured tube pan.\tBake at 300\u00b0 for
    30 minutes, then turn up oven to 325\u00b0 and bake 1 hour or until cake tests done.
