Raisin Scones(Sugar-Free) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour (can use whole wheat pastry flour)
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, cut into chunks
    1 c. raisins or other dried fruit
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    honey (optional)
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Mix in raisins, then mix in buttermilk with fork.
    Gather dough into ball and knead on lightly floured board about 2 minutes.
    Roll or pat dough out 3/4-inch thick.
    With sharp knife, cut into 3-inch triangles.
    Space apart on greased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 425\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes or until nicely browned.
    Serve warm with butter or jam.
    Makes about 1 dozen scones.
