Green Bean Medley - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. frozen green beans
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1 onion
1 large carrot or 2 small carrots
5 to 6 potatoes
Preparation

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to boil.
Stir in the oil.
Add still frozen green beans.
Cook on high until water starts boiling again.
While waiting, peel and cut the other vegetables into small chunks.
Add these to the beans.
Turn the heat to low and put the lid on the pot.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until all vegetables are tender-crisp when pierced with a fork.
Do not overcook.
Serves 6 to 8 generously.
