Karo Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. strawberries
Preparation
    Put Karo in bottom of pan to heat.
    Boil until it spins a thread.
    Add 2 cups of berries.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Add 2 cups of berries and sugar.
    Boil 20 minutes.
    Set aside.
    Skim, cool and let stand 24 hours or overnight.
    Put in jars.
    Cover with paraffin and seal.
