Ingredients

1 3/4 c. water
1/2 c. rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. raisins
nutmeg
cinnamon
Preparation

Bring water to a boil. Stir in rice and salt. Cover.
Simmer until all water is absorbed.
Add milk and boil gently, stirring occasionally until thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
