Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. diced apples
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar and vanilla; mix well.
    Fold in dry ingredients, apples and nuts.
    Turn into well-greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serve with ice cream.
