Low-Cholesterol, Low-Sodium Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    2 egg whites
    1 (8 oz.) can low-sodium tomato sauce
    1/4 c. chopped parsley (or 2 tsp. dried)
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
    Use 1/2 of the tomato sauce and reserve the other half for spreading on top of the loaf.
    Garnish with parsley tops.
    Bake until lightly browned or until done in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 1/4 hours.
