Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
3/4 c. nuts
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
Preparation

Cream the sugar, shortening and add beaten eggs.
Add milk and soda; mix well.
Add bananas, salt and nuts.
Blend in flour.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in greased bread pan.
Makes 2 loaves.
