Economy Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef for stew
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    1/8 tsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. mayo
    1/2 c. cream of mushroom soup
    3 to 4 c. cooked noodles
Preparation
    Cut beef into 1/8 inch slices.
    Cook and stir beef in butter. Reserve 1/3 cup broth.
    Stir the remaining broth, catsup, garlic and salt into skillet.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer until beef is tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
