Tea Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. raisins
    1 slightly beaten egg
Preparation
    Combine
    flour,
    sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Mix in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add egg, milk and raisins; mix
    well.\tCut
    dough
    in\thalf.
    Shape each into a ball. Flatten into a 6 inch circle about 1/2 inch thick.\tCut each circle
    into
    6
    wedges.
    Place
    on
    an ungreased baking sheet. Brush
    with the slightly beaten egg.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
