Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo syrup
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 cube melted butter (not margarine)
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan pieces
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix syrup and
    sugar;
    add
    melted butter.
    Mix in eggs and vanilla; let
    stand
    for
    1
    hour.\tPlace
    pecan pieces in 9-inch pie shell.\tPour in filling and cover with pecan pieces turned right side\tup.
    Pie
    is prettier when pecan pieces are placed in a
    starburst
    pattern.
    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 325\u00b0.
