Scottish Jelly Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. oatmeal
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. jelly
Preparation
    Combine butter, brown sugar and eggs.
    Mix until smooth.
    Add flour, oatmeal, baking powder and salt; mix well.
    Make dough into balls and press down center with floured fingers.
    Fill with jelly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes four dozen.
