Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. water
    1 large can Mexicorn
    1 c. grated cheese
    4 eggs
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    3 or 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
    Add pepper and onion, mixing well.
    Add eggs and oil.
    When well mixed, add corn, milk and water.
    Stir well.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into a large pan or skillet.
    Add cheese.
    Pour on rest of bread mixture.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown.
    If desired, leave out jalapeno peppers.
