Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. thinly sliced cucumbers
    1 thinly sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine cucumbers, onion and salt.
    Let stand 2 hours.
    Drain well.
    Mix vinegar and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
    Put pickles in freezer containers or small plastic margarine tubs, leaving 1 inch headspace.
    Freeze immediately.
