Beef Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    10 1/2 oz. can condensed tomato soup
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil or 1 strip chopped bacon
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix first 6 items with 1/4 cup condensed soup and form into about 15 (1 1/2-inch) balls.
    Brown meat balls and garlic in vegetable oil or bacon in cook and serve skillet, then blend in remaining soup and 1 cup water.
    Cover and simmer on low for about 40 minutes, until rice is tender.
