Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can Angel Flake coconut
5 egg whites, beat stiff

Preparation

Cream butter and shortening. Add sugar. Beat until mixture is smooth. Add egg yolks. Beat well.
