Poppy-Seed Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    4 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 tsp. poppy seed
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter and egg yolks.
    In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder.
    Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed ingredients, alternating with sour cream.
    Add vanilla and poppy seed.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in a lightly greased angel food cake pan for approximately 1 hour.
