Skillet Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned and halved
1 Tbsp. oil
8 oz. fresh mushrooms
2 c. sliced carrots
1 1/2 c. sliced onions
2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. dried savory or thyme
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. white wine
1 bay leaf
1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
Preparation

Cut chicken into 3-inch strips.
In large skillet cook chicken in oil over high heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients except rice.
Stir well.
Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in rice. Cover and simmer an additional 10 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes 6 servings.
