Bananas Barbara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 bananas
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 to 3/4 c. rum
Preparation
    In small skillet, place butter and melt over medium heat.
    Add brown sugar slowly while stirring.
    Add lemon juice and stir.
    Add rum.
    Stir and then add cut up bananas (4-inch split pieces). Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
    Cool slightly and serve over vanilla ice cream.
    Serves 5 to 6.
    Quick, easy way to use leftover or aging bananas.
