Orange Sherbet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) boxes orange Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    1 pt. orange sherbet
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    2 c. mandarin oranges, drained
    1/2 c. walnuts (optional)
    1 small container cottage cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
    Stir in sherbet.
    Add fruit, nuts and cottage cheese.
    Chill to set.
    Serves 6 to 8 with luncheon or dinner.
    This is very sweet but the cottage cheese cuts the sweetness.
