Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 large tub Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add flour alternately with the milk to the sugar mixture.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    When cake is cool, punch holes in cake.
    Top with strawberries and Cool Whip.
    Keep refrigerated.
