Bread And Butter Pickles(Cold Process) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced, unpeeled cucumbers, washed
    1 c. green or red chopped pepper
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Pack cucumbers into a gallon jar (preferably large mouth jar). Mix other ingredients and pour over cucumbers.
    Cover, but do not seal.
    Keep in refrigerator.
    Pickles become real crisp.
    Shake jar frequently to mix ingredients.
    Ready to use after setting 2 weeks.
